155th Anniversary
Battle of First Manassas
Twenty three officers, men and ladies of the 69th Pa braved the soaring heat and
humidity of Middletown, Va to recreate the first major battle of the Civil War. With
temperatures approaching 100 degrees each day the 69th was one of the largest units
attending and did their duty in each battle scenario. Despite the heat the camaraderie
of the membership remained strong and a good time as had by all.
