Quakertown Community Event July 4th
 WHAT WE DO
The regiment was invited to Quakertown, Pa for their annual Fourth of July  Community
Day. We committed to set up a Civil War camp and to provide a solemn ceremony at the
community veterans monument. July Fourth is traditionally a busy day for our members
with family and neighborhood commitments. But once again the members of the 69th
"Irish Volunteers" rose to the occasion and gave a slice of their personal time to "the
cause". Twenty Two soldiers and ladies gathered, erected camp and a sales booth,
provided drill and marching display and conducted a well attended solemn ceremony.
