SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
                150 YEARS LATER
Marching with their new green battleflag, the 69th Pennsylvania joined, as they do each
year, the annual Philadelphia Saint Patrick's Day parade in center city from City Hall t
the Art Musuem. This year the streets were lined with thousands of spectators cheering
at the sight of our banner and of the sounds of our musket volleys. Our new flags waved
in breeze and was proudly displayed. Our ladies marched in front of the officers and men
and the weather was bright and clear. A successful ending to a weekend of ceremony at
Independence Hall; music at the Sumney and marching through the streets of Philly.
