Civil War Weekend September 13-15
Twenty members of the 69th Pa participated in what many called one of the most fun
filled local reenactment / "Living History" events in many years. The event featured
two exciting battles; an evening of campfire music; a pig roast; blue claw crabs, corn
on the cob and numerous visitors to our camp. New members and long time members
enjoyed great weather and fellowship in a camp featuring a Kitchen Commissary and
sang for hours around the camp fire. Our sales and information table sold almost $500
worth of goods and our members talked to many visitors about our work and our goal
of honoring every man who fought with the regiment from 1861 to 1865 in the Civil War.
