Gettysburg Remembrance Day 2019
On Saturday November 23, 2019  31 men and woman of the 69th Pa gathered at Gettysburg on a
day   that the meteorologists predicted would see rain and cold. However the skies cleared and bright
sunshine greeted those who came to Gettysburg to honor the soldiers of the 69th Pa who fought and
died on this sacred ground.  In the morning  those assembled marched to the National Cemetery to
honor the graves of the 21 buried there; to hear their stories; and to place flags on their "final resting
places". The unit then marched to the regimental monument where the muster roll of Company K was
this year read and honors presented. The afternoon parade in town finished the day in Gettysburg.
