Gettysburg 156 July 5-7, 2019
A determined band of 69th soldiers under the command of Brevet Sergeant
Michael Hessler braved hot sun and rain storms as they represented the
regiment at the 156th anniversary of Gettysburg July 5-7. With no officers or
non-comms attending the members of the 69th fought as part of the 2nd Rhode
Island regiment during weekend battles. Private Paul Laspino and his wife
Jessica provided the camp with a kitchen and dining tent.
