On Saturday evening August 4th a handfull of members the 69th Pa "Irish Volunteers

baseball game between the Barnstormers and the Sugarland Skeeters from Texas. The
evening has been selected as "Irish Night" and plans were made for the visit of the Civil
War Reenactment unit from Philadelphia.  The 69th program began before the start of the
game with the showing on the stadium outfield screen of a collection of photographs of
69th events from the past Before the game began 69th members fired a few volleys with
the muskets used in reenactment and educational activity. During the game the Civil War

unit as well as tee- shirts, caps, books and Irish music CD's. All proceeds from the sale of
these items go toward the placement of gravestones on the many unmarked Civil War
