The Final Day of 2018
Each year on December 31, the George Meade Society of Philadelphia
is joined by members of various reenacting units, historical associations
and guests as they pay tribute to General George Meade the commanding
general at the Battle of Gettysburg. This year several members of the 69th
Pa took the opportunity of attending the event and while there visited the
grave of our Colonel and Brigadier General Joshua Owen. The cemetery is
also the final resting place of Sergeant Major Anthony Angelo.
