One of our favorite local events each year is the Pennypacker Mansion
Civil War Reunion. This small event is held on the original property of Civil
War general and Pa governor Samuel L Pennypacker located in Schwenksville,
Pennsylvania. This year overall Union commander was to be the Captain of
the 69th Pa, Scott Eller. The event was cancelled because of flooding and
predictions of heavy rainfall.
