Adams County Hibernian Festival
Saturday July 21, 2018
The Hibernian Society of Adams County has invited the 69th Pa for the past  three
years to bring our band to their yearly festival near Gettysburg. Traditionally we set
up a small camp, sell our shirts, caps and CD's and  play tunes on stage. This year
despite of warnings of foul weather a small group journeyed West to participate. The
69th color guard opened the festival day with a flag parade followed by a set of songs
from the band. Like clock work as  soon as the band finished it's set the rain came down
heavy and the  efforts to raise money for our gravestone project were  frustrated.
